Thesaurus Rex

Thesaurus Rex is a small JavaScript app that allows users to enter a word or phrase and visualize its synonyms as a word cloud (D3.js).

The thesaurus API is provided by Big Huge Labs and the word cloud script is based on one by Jason Davies.
